Not only was I able to order online before the shop was even open, the florist had a question about my bouquet and called me personally to verify what I wanted which was a huge time saver for me... because as usual... I forget to order flowers in a timely manner and am left scrambling... Not this time... I ordered at like 5 in the morning and they were delivered within 8 hours... NICE!

As always, the flower arrangment was beautiful! I was a little disappointed in the $9.00 delivery fee. I thought it was too much since it wasn't going out of town, just to Staab around the corner. Since it priced out at $52.00 it was a little sting to hear one the Daughters thanking me for the sweet little bouquet. But I was greatful that I have never been disappointed on the wonderful arrangements you send!

The only thing is I could not find on your site a place to get things chocolate dipped and I would have liked that as I really did not have time to call because of my work hours. I also appreciate the flexibility-I had to call & change locations because a family member was released from the hospital before they got flowers. The person I talked to was so helpful!

Mary Lou's has been our local florist of choice for many years in Springfield and for service on Mary Lou's end I would rate it a 5. But as for the florist they used to actually deliver flowers to my daughter in Arizona I would rate them a ZERO!!!! It's was the biggest waste of $100 ever! Mary Lou's did all that they could to make it right, so again, rated a 5 for customer service. But in the end I was still very dissatisfied with the product.

I was very pleased with my purchase for a funeral service. The peace lily looked exactly as it did on-line. I had also put a Saturday delivery date, and the funeral was not until Monday, so they even sent an e-mail to let me know it would be there on Monday morning in time for the funeral. I was very well pleased with the personal service, and the price. For on-line flowers you've got FTD and Teleflora beat - hands down!

Not all of the flowers that appeared in the picture for the "Colorful Condolences Tribute" arrangement were available to be utilized when this arrangement was put together. The urn that was pictured online was also not something that Flowers By Mary Lou could provide. However, a staff member called right away to make me aware of these two things and assured me that they would be able to provide something similar. I also requested that a butterfly be added to the arrangement. I was thoroughly impressed with what they were able to put together and the family that this was sent to really enjoyed it. A job well done!

I ordered a Blooming Azalea Plant for my sister-in-law's funeral. I was happy with the ease of the website and the online ordering. I was happy with the initial delivery time. However, I was very unhappy with the plant itself. The day it arrived was the evening of the visitation and when I saw the plant, I was truly embarrassed by it. There were very few open blooms, and worse; there was a lot of dried up brown old looking areas on the plant. The next morning I called Mary Lou's and they exchanged the plant with a better looking one of the same kind that morning in time for the funeral service. That, I was happy about. But I was still embarrassed by the appearance of the plant all during the visitation the night before. I explained this when I called Mary Lou's, and the response was; sorry, we will switch it out for a better looking one. I highly doubt that I will use Mary Lou's services in the future.

I have had excellent service over the years and will continue to use Mary Lou for all my floral needs in Illinois.
